Gameday January 5th @ NSH

January 5
CGY @ NSH
Gametime 6:00pm

The Predators have won three games in a row and the Flames have won four, but when you look at the teams they have both been beating, tonight's matchup is the only game that means anything. This could mean one of two things: either the Flames will turn the corner, beat Nashville tonight, and put to rest the shitstorm that was the first three weeks of December, or the Flames will realize that this is in fact an important contest, and hopelessly shit and piss themselves as we have become used to in the past.

Jason Jaffray has been recalled from Abbotsford for Calgary, and I forgot why I liked him for a while until I remembered he is from Rimbey.
The city is a bustling metropolis

Jaffray is up because Old Man Conroy is getting too hot and to be fair to the other teams in the league its only reasonable the Flames sit him out (undisclosed injury). Cory Sarich is back for Calgary though which will be decent to watch as there are now zero Flames defencemen I truly hate. I sort of miss seeing Ericsson and Zyuzin on the ice because then I knew I had to pay attention all the time, as all of our shortcomings were about to be pointed out all at once.

Tonight's ticket deal in Nashville is two tickets for $42 and then $2 concessions. While this occurs, I will have just paid over $150 for Oilers/Coyotes tickets and expect to pay at least $7 a beer. That's not even the best deal though:

Let's move to Nashville, its basically Calgary without the oil, plus Hannah Montana has a ranch there.

Go Flames.
