Congratulations to Marty Brodeur on his 104th career shutout. Its actually cool to be alive at this point in time. This is the shit you tell your grandkids. Brodeur, of course, was the 20th overall selection in the 1990 draft. The Flames held the 11th overall pick that year. They also selected a goaltender: Trevor Kidd.
The Kidder
Although he was almost as successful as Marty, as far as I can tell, he is still keeping busy. The way he stretches reminds me of a lazy cat.
The Lighter Side of Fire was started in December 2009 by a Flames fan living in Edmonton who was tired of hearing everyone refer to Jordan Eberle and Taylor Hall as God and Jesus Christ respectively. This is not a website where you will find corsi, here you will find coarse language (and bad puns apparently). On this site you get Flames news, not numbers. Take it for what it is.
